How To Add Instagram in Blogger

Today, we'll discuss on how to add an Instagram Widget on your blogger accounts. But for a brief discussion, let's first give a wider definition for Instagram. This is an online mobile photo sharing platform which is accessible through smartphones. According to sources, the app's initial launch was in 2010 and immediately takes popularity as smartphones became a hit.

Instagam now is associated with other different apps that is widely used by smartphone users. Since Instagram is could be viewed through desktop computers, why not place your Instagram images in your own blog or website!?

Find out how by viewing the steps below:

Step 1: Go to your Instagram account and set it to public. 
This is necessary since the application won't be able to view your profiles and serve it to you when you don't set your account to public

Step 2: Go to SnapWidget and fill the necessary fields.
Primary requirement is to place your username in the field or a hashtag in the next one which will be used fetch the images that will be displayed.

Step 3: Click on "Preview"
This is not actually mandatory but will be beneficial to you as a user so you could view the output before posting it in your blog or website.

Step 4: Click on "Get Widget"
This is the important part since the site will give you the code that will be placed in your site for the images to appear.

- Adding the code to blogger -

To add the code in blogger which is given in Step 4, go to your blogger dashboard and click on "Layout". After that click on "Add a Gadget" and choose HTML/JavaScript. This is where you should place your code for it to appear in your blog.

Proper placement is now up to you as the user/admin of the blog. Move it to your desired area and click on save.
