After Google seeds the latest Android 5.1.1 update to its Nexus devices, Google is now giving off the update to Android One devices as promised by Google when they build the Android One series. If you could recall, Android One devices is expected to receive the latest updates for up to a minimum of 2 years.

Given that two local brands has acquired Android One in their units, Cherry Mobile One and MyPhone Uno is also receiving the update over-the-air but it is done manually as of the moment; though some users already claimed that they have updated their devices a week ago, only they could tell if it was manual or OTA.
If you are quite familiar with manually updating Android devices, then the task will be like a walk in the park since an OTA (Over the Air) update is not yet available according to sources. For a detailed instruction on how to manually update your Android One device, please check the guide below.
- Download the Zip File from the given links
- Place the Zip File to your Android Device (Internal Memory)
- Boot into Recovery
- Select the Zip File and Flash it to your device.
However, for individuals who are not familiar with manually updating and is not sure yet if they could successfully do this update, they could always check for updates by going to Settings >> About Phone >> System Updates.
